GrievanceMD is a resource where stewards can view and download advanced grievance templates/examples. Each sample grievance will have several attachments, to include an editable 8190 Grievance Form complete with suggested issue statements and remedies filled in, as well as a separate set of Union contentions in editable, word format. Also included will be a PDF file containing recommended exhibits for each grievance.

 

The grievance templates  on this site are the result of trial and error on the part of stewards, Step B NALC representatives, and NALC arbitration advocates. We welcome criticism, suggestions, and submissions if you feel you have ideas to offer. The templates  may change from day to day as we fine-tune each grievance to be the best it can be. At times, there may be more than one grievance option for each topic so that you can choose which best applies to your scenario.

This site does not seek to replace the NALC grievance starters. In fact, you may see some very familiar arguments in what is provided here. We are all in this together, and only together can we best protect our National Agreement and our fellow NALC brothers and sisters.
